A4, ballpoint. Art Vilnius
The art project “A4, Ballpoint Pen” was presented twice at the main festival of contemporary art in the Baltic States – Art Vilnius.
One of the most important and large-scale art events in Vilnius in 2009 was the first international art fair – ArtVilnius’09. A wide and representative panorama of contemporary art opened at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Conference Center Litexpo. The event took place from 8th of July to 12th. Over 100 well-known and young galleries from Lithuania, neighboring and foreign countries become participants at Litexpo. Galleries from 31 countries, including Ukraine, participated in ARTVILNIUS’09.
"A4, ballpoint" is a definitely one of the largest art projects of modern Ukraine. At that time the project has been going on for 13 years. During this time has united under its auspices more than fifty authors: masters of modern art, amateurs, writers, poets, musicians, architects, couturiers and other creative personalities. The project collection has over 5000 works and is considered the largest collection of ballpoint art works in the world. Among the authors of the project are such famous artists as Apollonov, Babak, Roytburd, Ralko, Chichkan, Bevza, Zhyvotkov, Isupov, Kryvolap, Bludov, Volokitin, Gusev, Reunov and others. The project is developing rapidly, gaining more and more new supporters and is open to new ideas and names.
